Manual Backup

1.	Choose File \| Backup Data

2.	Choose a location.

3.	Click [OK]

Restore Manual Backup Files

4.	Choose File \| Restore Data

5.	Choose the location of the backup.

6.	Click [OK]

Note

Only level 5 user with full access can backup and restore databse.

Creating and restoring automatic backups

Automatic Backup

If you did not disable the Automatic Backup option, WinPIM will backup the data files automatically to the 'backup' sub-folder of the user data folder. The automatic backup only backups modified files, and it only does a backup one time each day. WinPIM keeps 2 recently backups, the latest named *.wpf.yqb1, and the other *.wpf.yqb2. It will NOT backup if the files have not been modified since last backup. And it will NOT bakcup more than one time within one day.

It is possible to change the automatic Backup Folder in Options.

Restore Automatically Backup Files

Remove the .yqb1 or .yqb2 extension and copy all the files to the WinPIM data folder to restore the files.
