The easiest way to exchange calendar information with people over the Internet is by using the iCalendar format. The iCalendar format can be used with a wide variety of digital devices and operating systems.

1.	Switch to the Calendar view

2.	Create an appointment

3.	Select the appointment from the Appointments list.

4.	Choose File \| Export \| iCalendar.

5.	Enter the location where to store the export file.

6.	Click Finish

vCalendar is similar to iCalendar. iCalendar is also known as vCalendar version 2.0. iCalendar can include reoccurence information while vCalendar can not.

To export multiple appointments (such as export all the appointments of a category), see Search and Report.
